2. The NIN captures all details about you and will be a local and International recognized means of Identification for Nigerians

3. It is Compulsory for every Nigerian to be identified with a NIN

4. You cannot get or renew a Nigeria International Passport without NIN

5. You will not be able to open a Bank Account in Nigeria or conduct any transaction without NIN

6. The NIN is linked to International Security networks which makes it possible to locate the holder or in tracking fraudulent activities.

7. Only holders of NIN will be considered for voting in future elections

8. NIN will be used in calculating and building an accurate database of Nigerians living in the Diaspora

9. Every child of Nigerian descent is entitled to be enrolled to have a NIN
